We are assisting in the careful rehoming of 2 adult Basenjis. This is a heartfelt transition, and we are committed to finding them a truly special home.

These dogs are absolute sweethearts—gentle, intelligent, and loving. 

⚠️ Important – Please Read Carefully Before Inquiring:

• These are adult dogs experiencing a major life transition 
• They will require a patient, understanding home 
• Adjustment can take 3–6 months (or longer) to fully settle, trust, and bond 
• They are not crate trained 
• Basenjis are a unique breed and do best with owners familiar with their temperament 

🐾 Ideal Home:

• Calm, stable environment 
• No rush for immediate affection or “perfect behavior” 
• Someone home often or able to provide consistent companionship 
• Experience with dogs (Basenji experience strongly preferred) 
• Willingness to allow decompression time and build trust at the dogs’ pace 
• Has researched the breed thoroughly
• Can drive to pick up in Oregon or ground shipping, no cargo flights
